There are some wonderful, deeply inspiring movies that leave us feeling good about life and also teach us something important about ourselves. One such movie is ‘The Kid’. The movie stars Bruce Willis in an untypical role as a man who is about to turn 40. He thinks he is happy until an 8-year-old boy shows up and turns his life upside down. I love movies of transformation where the character starts out one way, goes through some upheaval, and then transforms their life in some big way. This is one of those movies. The movie helps us realize that there may be some childhood trauma that is standing in the way of us living our best and fullest lives. It helps us remember the importance of healing aspects of ourselves that need healing and see childhood events from the perspective of an adult and not a child.
As we move into the darkest time of the year, our greatest task is to remember the Light within. Each of us carries a personal sun—our Quantum Point—an infinite source of guidance, balance, and color frequencies that connect us to the Universe. By tuning into this light, we not only heal and strengthen ourselves but also become lighthouses for others navigating their own storms.
As the days grow shorter, we are invited to gently turn inward and embrace the nurturing yin energy of the season. This time encourages us to slow down despite the busy celebrations around us. Simple practices like pausing, connecting with nature, and mindful breathing can help restore calm. Embracing gratitude shifts our mindset and deepens our presence. May this season bring you space, time, and awareness to enjoy its quiet beauty.

When making a move to a new home, it is important to watch for any changes in your child’s sleeping habits or behavior. One parent learned this when they moved their family into a new home. Within months, their 15-year-old daughter, an honor student, lost interest in her studies, changed the group of friends she was hanging out with and even changed her looks.
She had always been someone who was fun loving and a bright light as she entered a room. When her mom called me to see if I could check in to see why there was this sudden change in her daughter, I asked if they had recently moved. It turned out they had moved 18 months before and the changes began taking place about a month after the move.
Anytime there is that kind of drastic change after a move, I always check the energy of the bedroom the child is sleeping in. In this case, the daughter ended up sleeping in a room with a negative vortex. T
