You’re Probably More Energy Aware Than You Think
A lot of people tell me they do not feel energy.
And yet, when I visit their homes, their choices often tell a very different story.
Most of us have had the experience of walking into a room and immediately knowing something feels good there. Maybe you relax right away. Maybe you feel clear, focused, and comfortable. On the other hand, there are spaces that make you feel tired, distracted, restless, or just slightly off, even if you cannot explain why.
That kind of response is often a form of energy awareness. You may not call it that, but your body is noticing it all the same.
One of the clearest examples I have seen involved a self-employed father who asked me to dowse his home, including the room he had set up as his office. On paper, it was the perfect workspace. It was quiet, beautiful, separate from the rest of the house, and filled with everything he needed. But in reality, he could barely tolerate being in it.
After about ten minutes, he would feel tired, fuzzy-headed, and unfocused. Instead of using the room he had carefully designed for work, he kept moving back to the dining table. Eventually, the office became an expensive storage room rather than a place where he could actually think and create.
When I assessed the energy of the house, the reason became clearer. His office was crossed by several Interference Lines, which are stress lines often created by things like cell towers and satellite dishes. These lines can show up in the body as headaches, allergy-like symptoms, fatigue, or that vague sense that a room simply does not support you.
That is exactly what was happening here. His mind wanted the office to work. His body knew otherwise.
What fascinated me most was that he had already made a better choice without knowing why. He naturally gravitated toward another part of the home where a positive energy field, or positive vortex, was supporting him. That was where he could work with more clarity, more ease, and far less resistance.
This is what energy awareness often looks like in everyday life. It is not always dramatic or obvious. More often, it shows up in the quiet decisions we make without much thought.
The chair you always sit in.
The room everyone gathers in.
The corner no one wants to use.
The spot where clutter always seems to pile up.
Those patterns are worth noticing.
Your home is constantly giving you information. Sometimes it is supporting you. Sometimes it is draining you. And sometimes it is asking for help in ways you can feel long before you can name them.
That is one of the reasons I love this work so much. It reminds people that they are not disconnected from their environment. Their body already knows what feels aligned and what does not. They just need help learning how to listen more consciously.
If you start paying attention, you may discover that you have been energy awareness all along. For homes that could use a little more harmony and support, a Dowsing Consultation may offer helpful insights into the energy of the space.
